Should I be pissed at my mom for this? I feel like an ahole.?

i bought her a birthday present and wrapped it and left it on her dresser so she'd have it when she returned from vacation since she was away during her bday. well she got back today and didnt open it. she is too busy right now taking care of her bf's big baby problem b/c his new bag broke and he's bitchhing about it. im pissed. am i getting worked up over nothing? she hasnt opened my present or acknowledged it. i cant believe i spent all that money on her.
