Were J. Edgar Hoover and Clyde Tolson lovers?

ually - I doubt it, although nobody but them really knew, and they're both dead so we'll never find out. Personally, I think that one or probably both of them were gay but too repressed to actually express themselves ually. But they were very much a couple.
