Who could've killed OJ's wife?

I believe, like most people do, that OJ's acquittal was a mistake, but that's only based on the little bit I know of it. If OJ says he didn't do it, then who was it? What other possible options would there be? Were there any other names brought up in the trial? Also, Why did he (probably) do it?
