How to increase my English level a lot?

I find a very good way recreationally when I am learning another language is to watch movies, TV series and read books, if you happen to watch a movie or TV series be sure to use subtitles as you watch you can also look at the words and learn and you can pause it conveniently and browse the dictionary in case you don't understand a word.
