Will a Cavalier cross er Spaniel have less risk of hereditary disease than a pedigree Cavalier?

Not in the least. Since this is a backyard breeding who deliberately breeds mutts, you know they don't do ANY health testing. That means the puppies could have all the health problems in both breeds.
