How do I remove a fireplace?

In my house, we have a fireplace that we want to get rid of. It was added to the house after it was built(built in 1986). The chimney is on the outside of the house, and there is a stainless flue that runs to the roof. Is there a way to remove the fireplace without having to take the whole flue out? At about the second level floor(first floor ceiling), there is a metal flange that I can see and I'm wondering if that could be supporting the rest of the flue and chimney from the ceiling up to the roof? If that's the case, is it possible to remove the section of the flue that is below that flange and not have to worry about the rest of the flue coming down with it. When I look up the chimney through the fireplace, I can see the top of the chimney and I can also see the flue is in about 6' sections all the way up. Above the fireplace around the flue there is about a 8" gap between the flue and the walls of the chimney which is covered in sheetrock.

We had a terrible divorce. He told his family many ugly things about me, true and untrue. I told my family many ugly things about him. We are still so in love. We are still growning and changing. Being on my own was a good thing. We may remarry someday. My family loved him at first, but after helping me through all the divorce (my mistake by crying my eyes out to them); they can not share in our joy, nor promote our relationship. He is 'dead' to them. I understand they want to protect me. But they also do not realize how my behaviors added to the ugly divorce. Nor do they believe that people can change. Have you ever gone to see one of your favorite bands in concert, just to have them blown off the stage....?

I saw a show that included six bands (in 2001), two of which were Blue Oyster Cult and Bad Company. I REALLY wanted to see BOC and really did not care for BC all that much. BOC took the stage and they sounded like they just woke up after a 30 minute nap after a 48 hour party. They were so slow that after just three songs I didn't care if I ever listened to them again. Bad Company took the stage next and it was composed of the original members and I mean they blew EVERYBODY away including the headliner (Styx). That's not just my opinion, I base that observation on the fans response. Paul Rodgers' (BC frontman) audience participation was fantastic. Somewhere in the middle of his set, he started playing a Beatles medley and everybody kinda looked around at each other like "What the ____?" But in no time, we were eating it up, could've swore the Liverpool Limeys were actually on stage! SO, that day I got new found respect for Bad Company and kinda lost my love for Blue Oyster Cult.

Is this a normal Triops habit? & how do you tell if they're dead?

First of all, please don't answer my question asking what triops are, Google it if you don't know. But anyway, my main question is, I moved my triops to a new tank & did proper care with it (adding some of the new water to their current tank so they get used to it, read proper instructions online). Anyway, I gave them some pebbles in their tank, they like to swim between the nooks. They seem to come up to the water more during the day, but when I come home from work at 11:30pm, I normally don't see any swimming so I just switch to their "night time" light that came with the tank. Is this normal for triops to do this? And another question, how do you know if a triop is dead? Will it float up to the surface like a fish?

Constant bodily itching and occasional chest pains?

Hello, I am 15 almost 16 year old male. I am over weight ( working on it ). Recently my mom took me to the dermatologist for mild acne and she prescribed me aczone and minocycline. I did a lot of reading on minocycline and understood its effects but decided seems as the dermatologist thought it was safe to go ahead and give it a try. I was on minocycline for 3 weeks when suddenly one day i broke out in hives and severe itching, automatically i umed it was from the medicine knowing that it had alot of side effects, also i looked up " minocycline itching" and found some people with similair problems. I took some benedryl had a long nap and woke up with no hives and no itching for the rest of the day. I called my dermatologist and she told me to stop taking it so i have been off the pill for about 3 days now i think. I am no longer getting any hives but i do still have constant itching, it occurs at different times and in different places throughout the day. the most commonly occuring places are: my legs, my back, my neck and head ( including itching on the scalp/hair area ) my arms, and it occurs sometimes on my hands but not to the same degree as other places. I am very concerned that even after 3 days of being off the pill that im still experiencing itching, i havnt told my parents im still having problems after being off the pill yet. Is it normal that im still experiencing itching? i used aveeno and bynadryl creme to stop the usual itching places but if im at school or away from my house sometimes its not easy to be able to apply it also, i dont want to have to apply itching creme for the rest of my life. On top of the scary thing is i am experiencing some chest pain/pressure. I know that i am over weight but im only 16 and i havnt ever had any chest pains before i started taking this medicine. its also strange that i had been taking minocycline for 3 weeks before any of this happend. I would think it was an allergic reaction but 3 weeks of minocycline for the reaction to take effect? i dont think that is the case, if anyone can help i am very concerned

Problem with Worcester Bosch 24i..............?

I had to turn the boiler and water off today when I was having some work done in my bathroom. I switched it back on at the mains and the light is on but there is no heating or hot water. I am 18 years old and I am having for about 2 years. The first time and a few time after were very painfull, but oki since it was at the beginning. So I had a few times with this guy and after we split up I started dating another guy and I had with him too. After he cheated on me, I split up with him, and I had only after 6 moths once, the after 10 months once and now with my boyfriend. Don't feel alone. When you are pregnant, you have plenty of crazy hormones and thoughts going on. I remember feeling the same way about a lot of different things when I was pregnant. I bought a house that I didn't really like much, I would lose stuff all the time, laugh one minute and cry the next. If you truly hate your job (if you hated it before you got pregnant), you should look for something else. I changed jobs when I was 6 months pregnant because my job was too much stress and almost put me in labor at 5 months. I had to get out. I got a great job that got me through the rest of my pregnancy but I didn't have a lot of maternity time, mainly because I would have felt guilty if I would have took time off. I only took 2 weeks off before going back to work. If you are serious about quitting after the baby is born, stick it out until you have the baby (you would hate to burn a bridge with a great company if you are quitting after you have the baby). I would seriously have that discussion with my husband though so you guys are on the same page about your finances. Good luck and enjoy your pregnancy. This should be a time you have a smile on your face.

I joined Air Force Reserve, scheduled to ship to BMT in November. Since my swearing in, I have found out that my recruiter gave me incorrect information about my potential to become a commissioned officer, which will severely limit many options I thought I had with that branch of the military. If I want to switch to Army Reserve, am I still able to get out of the AF Reserve at this point without it creating a negative impact on my record? I am still very much on board with being in the military, but the options for school/grad school were a big incentive for me, so I am considering another branch of service that wouldn't limit me based on my age. I have heard that getting out of DEP as someone who has sworn in with Active Duty military is different than being in the Reserves. How difficult would it be to knit a clutch like this as a beginner?

It should be easy as the cable stitch is basically taking 2 or more stitches and holding them in the back of the work. Then you knit the same amount as you put on the cable holder and when you have done that you knit the stitches off the holder and that is how you do the hucklebuck oops I mean cable. I have some friends in my school but not to many. I feel like this is because of how I was like in the past. Can tonsils be the reason why i dont gain weight?

Im 20 and my weight is stuck at 39kgs since the age of 16. Back then i used to be 5'2... and now im 5'6. I eat healthy but im still unable to gain weight. I eat just as much as my sister does who is 1.5 years older than me... she can easily put on weight. I think i have tonsils... i can feel these bumps in my throat. They're not painful though. If i get them removed will i be able to gain weight? I have a serious problem with my weight. Hi. I've been through Menopause, and that's usually not the way women act. It sounds more like a mid-life crisis to me. Sometimes when we reach a certain age, we start to see that our life is slipping away, and we haven't done the things we wanted to do, so we just start going nuts trying to do them all at once. Did your parents get divorced recently ???? That also happens after a divorce, when they feel they have their freedom back, so they start going out a lot, and acting the way they did before marriage. It has nothing to do with you. Maybe you should tell her how you feel. As a parent, i know i would never want to do something that i know was hurting my child's feelings. Adults go through bad times, just like teens do. Being honest, and talking about how you feel, is the best advice i can give you. Good luck :-)

Make sure that when you connected it, that the screws on the sides of the connection are screwed in all the way. I've had it where I forgot to turn the screws on the connection and my monitor was displaying alot of odd and off colors, for example, green and red lines on one side, etc. When I turned the screws to make a tight connection, all the colors went back to normal and I didn't have anymore trouble since.. Also make sure that you have the right driver installed. If you have all of this right then I would ume the the card got messed up somehow, maybe from mishandling or you had stashed it away somewhere where a component on the chipset of the card got damaged or something. Also, maybe it's just old and almost close to the end of its life.

With enough money nothing is illegal. That said it would still look more like MMA. The groin strikes didn't change the dynamics of the first UFCs too much, and the better overall fighter(puncher, kicker, grappler) is going to win. Sorry, you can't convince me a bad fighter is going to beat a good one just by kicking him in the nuts. Especially when they're under the effects of adrenaline, and their pain tolerance is through the roof. Also bear in mind the other guy can kick you in the nuts too, its not really that complicated a technique. You do not want a Thai Boxer to kick your family jewels.

12 month old - barking?

My son, 12 months old, has a cough that sounds like a bark. It tends to be worse at night although he has been having coughing fits during daytime. No congestion but, his nose is draining clear. We have both the hot and cold humidi (not sure the best choice so do both) going at night. He is a pacifier baby and it seems to help. Any recommendations??

The second one is better since it has more of a poetical pattern. Some of the "couplets" (not official couplets, but if I will be allowed to call them that) contain different actions that would not be possible at the same instance in time. A consistent syllable count would also improve this. I would not worry too much with rhythm here.
